Dell gets it mostly right with this tiny, hoodlum-arsenic-nails notebook computer. We dig the high-res touchscreen, but electric battery life could be better and it costs a bundle.

Dell has a lot of faith in the XPS 13, its first entry into the nascent Ultrabook class of superthin laptops. Compared to what we're wont to seeing from Dell, it's a design marvel: thin, fatless, sleek, and well built with high-select materials. It looks good, feels acceptable, and performs well. If non for its disappointing expose quality and a few nipper trackpad issues, the XPS 13 would restrict As the best Ultrabook yet. The laptop computer is captivating, solid, and fast. Battery life is good if you don't go crazy with the screen smartness. Audio frequency is better than you'd expect, and the keyboard and trackpad (after the driver update) don't disappoint. With better display quality, it would be a slam-dunk. Unfortunately, the fairly resolution, chancy color reproduction, and poor sour-axis viewing leave a considerable stain connected what would otherwise Be a quintet-champion product.
